Lahore: Gangaram Hospital workers replaced a living baby with a deceased one, inflicting tremendous agony to both families. In Gate Number One’s Children’s Ward, hospital staff made a serious mistake when both kids born close together.
The hospital administration claims that a delivery crew error exchanged the babies. Both mothers’ names were same which caused this misunderstanding. Family which got cuystody of deceased child, they buried him soon after they reach home, before getting news.
The live infant inadvertently given to the family of the other woman, a China Scheme resident.
Doctors and medical staff promptly told the family. Which got the living baby of the mistake. The Salamatpura family made the heartbreaking decision not to return the live baby to its biological parents.
M.S. Gangaram said that Hospital’s management is investigating the error’s cause. The perpetrators will prosecuted.
