Webdesk: King Charles of Britain posted a picture of Princess Anne as a child on Tuesday to celebrate her 73rd birthday.
The palace sent two photos of King Charles and a sweet note to his younger sister on behalf of the King.
In the first picture, the Princess Royal is at Buckingham Palace with the King on May 6, 2023, the day the King and Queen crowned.
The second picture shows the Princess Royal, who was then Princess Anne, with the King, who was then Prince Charles, at Clarence House in July 1951.
The letter from King Charles to Princess Anne says, “Wishing Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal a very Happy Birthday today!”
Also, King Charles gave Princess Anne some new military jobs last week.
She named the Royal Regiment of Scotland’s Deputy Colonel-in-Chief.
“The King pleased to appoint The Princess Royal Deputy Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Regiment of Scotland. In recognition of Her Royal Highness’s strong ties to Scotland and existing links with the Regiment. As Colonel-in-Chief of both 1st Battalion The Ranger Regiment (formerly 1st Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland) and 6th Battalion. The Royal Regiment of Scotland,” a statement says.
This is Princess Anne’s first birthday since September of last year, when Queen Elizabeth died.
