Kriti Sanon claimed that filmmakers were hesitant to cast her in films in her early career.
Kriti told Hindustan Times, “When you do not come from a film background, it anyway takes time for people to even know your name. I wanted my name to be associated with talent.”
Before Bareilly Ki Barfi and Luka Chuppi, the 32-year-old actress desired approval.
“I always wanted actor validation. After Bareilly Ki Barfi, Luka Chuppi did well. I was making small progress.”
After Mimi, I won my first best actor accolades. Eight years passed.”
“There were a lot of moments of that knowing I could do more, but not having the kind of opportunities I wanted on my table,” Kriti recalled, frustrated.
“When you come from the outside, you don’t know people, they don’t know you, it takes a while to make an impact and for people to associate with you.”
“You make do with what you have. “Every film has taught me something,” Mimi said.
According to News 18, Kriti Sanon is excited about her forthcoming big-budget film Adipurush alongside Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan.
