Latif Khosa survives gun attack

Latif Khosa

Lahore: Former Punjab governor Latif Khosa’s Lahore mansion was shot late Thursday night, he revealed.

The unidentified gunmen injured Khosa’s driver. The famous jurist survived while the attackers escaped.

Khosa said he was hearing a client’s case at home when his driver told him about shooting.

The veteran Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader found holes in the house door when he checked outside. “Kalashnikov shot my house. Such methods fail. We support the chief justice.”

While investigating the attack, Superintendent Owais Shafiq visited the ex-governor’s home.

Police reported seven gunshots at Khosa’s home. The police said the gunshots hit the automobile and pierced the residence’s door, injuring the driver.

CCTV footage is helping police identify the attackers.

The cops found four gunshot rounds and two bullet marks on Khosa’s main gate. CCTV outside the house has not found the suspects.

Police claimed Sardar Latif Khosa’s request will result in a case.

Senior lawmaker Aitzaz Ahsan denounced the Khosa residence attack. He said Gullu Butts fired at Latif Khosa’s house.
