Webdesk: Conor McGregor is under investigation for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman in a stadium lavatory after Game 4 of the NBA Finals in Miami.
The woman’s lawyers submitted demand letters to McGregor, the NBA, and the Miami Heat to settle the accusation.
Moreover, The attorney said team and NBA security brought the woman into the lavatory, where McGregor and his security guard were waiting. McGregor allegedly forcefully kissed the woman while security blocked the loo. McGregor apparently coerced her into oral sex, but she escaped by elbowing him repeatedly. She notified Florida police on June 11.
While, The Miami Heat acknowledged the charges and pledged a thorough investigation. The NBA also collaborated with the Heat to investigate the accusation. UFC executives acknowledged the matter and reiterated their determination to await the legal process before commenting.
McGregor’s team disputed the charges and said he would not intimidated. Since July 2021, when he injured his leg against Dustin Poirier, the athlete has not competed. He last won in January 2020.
McGregor’s legal troubles preceded the charge. He charged with assault, robbery, and attempted sexual assault over the years. His latest complaint follows a string of others. McGregor denies all past charges.
Miami police confirmed an incident complaint and an ongoing investigation. The woman’s attorney gave police her assault-night clothes.
The case’s outcome will determine McGregor’s UFC future.
