Web Desk: The actor Saif Ali Khan has called out the paparazzi and media outlets after twenty individuals broke into his building at 2 am. Contrary to all rumours, the actor clarified that he will not fire his security guard or take legal action against the media.
Khan elaborated in a statement reported by NDTV on the incident and the subsequent rumours. “The security guard is not being fired, it is not his fault, and no one is taking legal action against the paparazzi because that is not how we wish to conduct business,” he said. “However, they did enter the private property through the gate, past the security guard, and completely invade our space, installing 20 cameras and lights as if it were their right to do so.”
The actor from Salaam Namaste emphasised that such conduct is “wrong” and that the media “must stay within its bounds.” He added, “We always cooperate with the paparazzi, but only outside the house and the gate.” Otherwise, where is the line to be drawn? Because they had already crossed one line, I commented on the bedroom. “How many lines does one have to cross before it becomes completely absurd?” Referring to his sarcastic remark about the paparazzi entering his bedroom now that they have arrived at his home.
“It is unnecessary for photographers to photograph children while they are attending extracurricular classes. The paparazzi are prohibited from entering the school, and that is all we are saying. “The reason for the rest of the noise and chatter is that no one knows the truth and everyone is trying to sell something, but this is the truth,” he concluded.
On March 2, Khan and his wife Kareena Kapoor attended the 70th birthday celebration for Malaika Arora’s mother Joyce Arora. Following the party, the couple was making their way to their home in Mumbai when the paparazzi began following them and demanding photographs.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time that celebrities have cautioned the media against crossing boundaries. Alia Bhatt criticised a media outlet last month for publishing an unauthorised photograph of her at home. Several actors, including Anushka Sharma, Janhvi, Arjun Kapoor, director Karan Johar, and veteran actress Zeenat Aman, wrote about their invasion of privacy in response to the incident.
