ISLAMABAD: A notice from the federal government said Monday that public officers will have to work different hours during Ramadan. This comes as the country gets ready for prayers and other religious events.

In the notice, the Establishment Division said that the federal government’s public offices would be from 7:30 a.m. To 1:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Also, on Fridays, public offices run by the federal government would be open from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm.

The PMD says there is a good chance that the crescent will be seen on the evening of March 22. (Wednesday).

The update was sent out by the Climate Data Processing Centre of the Met department. This means that the first day of Ramadan will probably start in Pakistan on Thursday, March 23.

During the Ramadan moon sighting time, most of the country should have fair, partly cloudy weather, according to the climate record.

Muslims all over Pakistan and the rest of the world celebrate Ramadan every year. It is the holiest month in the Islamic calendar, and Muslims don’t eat or drink from dawn until dusk during this month.
