Pakistan took Sri Lanka out for lunch at 81-1 after Nauman’s early breakthrough. After lunch, Nauman’s spin attack got five more wickets.
Sri Lanka scored 143-6 before Tea after Nauman grabbed all six wickets.
After Tea, Naseem resumed his pursuit for wickets, although it took him a long time to get his first. Nauman’s seventh wicket came when a ‘out’ judgement overturned, bringing him closer to the world record of 10 wickets in an innings.
Naseem took the final three wickets in style.
Angelo Mathews hit 63 unbroken runs with seven boundaries and two maximums.
Rizwan (37) and Agha Salman (132) resumed Pakistan’s innings at 563-5 on day four. Rizwan completed his half-century before Babar Azam declared.

On the third day, Agha hit 15 fours and a six for an undefeated 132 runs in 148 balls. Abdullah Shafique achieved his first double-hundred.
