Kashif Mirza said that board tests will happen as planned. But classes will start back up on May 26 as planned.

Mirza said that all of the country’s summer vacations will begin on June 15 and end on August 14. He also said that schools will return on August 15.

The president also said that the state of Sindh will have summer vacation from June 1 to July 31.

The federal government will fully participate in the Youm-e-Takreem Shuhada-e-Pakistan and that protests planned for the day.

Sources say that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will also lead a gathering, and the federal government is considering announcing a public holiday.
