Karachi (NNI) Pakistani women’s cricket team captain Fatima Sana has set a new world record in the T20 format, scoring a half-century in 15 balls. Earlier, New Zealand batter Sophie Devine had scored a half-century in 18 balls.
While batting against Zimbabwe in the third T20, Pakistani captain Fatima Sana scored 62 runs not out in 19 balls. Pakistan Women’s Team defeated Zimbabwe Women’s Team by 133 runs in the third and final T20 match and completed a clean sweep in the series. In the match played in Karachi, Zimbabwe Women’s Team was bowled out for 90 in 18 overs while chasing a target of 224 runs, thus the match was won by the Green Shirts by 133 runs. Captain Fatima Sana scored 62 runs in just 19 balls. An unbeaten innings of 62 runs was played, Fatima Sana’s score included 10 fours and 2 sixes, Saira Jabeen scored 50 not out and Ayesha Zafar scored 45 runs. Zimbabwean bowler Mabhiro dismissed two players.
