Karachi: A training camp has set up for Pakistan’s Test team to get ready for their upcoming tour of Sri Lanka.
At the training camp for the 16-person team, players like captain Babar Azam, pacer Naseem Shah, and wicketkeeper Sarfaraz Ahmed have arrived. The first game of the two-game series will played this month.
Hasan Ali, a fast bowler, and Shan Masood, a top-order hitter, will join the camp tomorrow.
Zahid Mahmood, a spinner, and Sajid Ali, who were not in Pakistan’s Test team for the Sri Lanka tour, have also been called up for the camp.
Mohammad Rizwan, the wicketkeeper who also bats, missed the first part of the training camp because of personal reasons. He may be there later in the day, though.
On Friday evening, the players will let out of camp so they can go to Haris Rauf’s wedding in Islamabad. They will get back together in Karachi on Saturday and leave that day for Sri Lanka via Dubai.
