LAHORE: “Efforts” on the way to arrest Parvez Elahi, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), after an anti-corruption court in a graft case revoked his bail.

After the PTI leader didn’t show up to court, the bail taken away. He’s been out on bail until today.

Elahi’s lawyer told the judge that his client couldn’t come because he was having chest pain.

The prosecutors, on the other hand, said that the former Punjab chief minister’s medical report “fake,” which the Services Hospital also agreed with.

After hearing both sides, the judge took Elahi’s bail away.

In March of this year, the previous chief minister of Punjab changed parties and joined the PTI. Imran Khan, who is the head of the PTI, made him president.

Since then, there have been many attempts to arrest the leader of the PTI, and he has been in more trouble with the law. But he got bail in most of those cases, including the one we’re hearing about today.

The bail was taken away, and his arrest is being planned, at the same time that the PTI is being punished for the protests that happened after party leader Imran Khan was arrested.
