QUETTA: On Monday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the central government would do everything it could to help sports.
The words came after the PM officially opened the much-anticipated 34th National Games in Quetta today.
The prime minister also promised that the government would do everything it could. To help young people in the country do well in all kinds of games.
The prime minister said that the country was proud of its athletes and players. Who had not only become famous in the country but also brought honours from other countries.
PM Shehbaz said that it had been 19 years since the state had hosted the national games.
“Holding the national games in this old city shows the country’s strength, unity, and love for its motherland,” he said.
The prime minister said that the youth has lot of talent that could used in different kinds of sports.
Assuring them of the government’s full support, he said that in the past, they had given out laptops, set up Danish schools, pushed games, and given awards to the top students.
He said that in sports, they were dedicated to giving all the resources they had to the young people because a country was healthy if its young people were healthy and could make progress if its young people were educated well.
