Webdesk: Prince William gotten a lot of flak for not going to the Women’s World Cup final.
Even his close fans in the British media have criticised the royal for not going to Sydney for the final, which England lost to Spain.
Online, people still talk about Prince William’s silence and Luis Rubiales’s controversial move after his team won.
William’s fans, who used to upset that the future king didn’t go to the final, now seem happy that the Prince of Wales didn’t go to Australia.
They glad because they thought that King Charles’s son would have made a big deal out of Luis Rubiales kissing one of the players on the lips if he had said nothing about it.
Royal watchers sure that Prince William saved himself from a bad situation by not going to the final.
FIFA’s Disciplinary Committee said on Saturday that it has temporarily banned the RFEF for 90 days. This comes after he grabbed player Jenni Hermoso’s head and kissed her on the lips after Spain won the Women’s World Cup.
Rubiales supposed to say he was stepping down on Friday. But instead he said he wouldn’t, and the RFEF promised to go to court to defend him after Hermoso said she didn’t want him to kiss her.
The World Cup-winning Spanish team and a number of other players have said they won’t play in international games as long as Rubiales is in charge of the league.
