Webdesk: In her most recent interview with Dax Shephard, Priyanka Chopra said that SS Rajamouli’s best movie, RRR, was a Tamil movie that made fans angry.
During the talk, Dax said that RRR was a Bollywood movie. He also said that a few actors and studios control everything, comparing Hollywood to Bollywood.
Priyanka said this in response: “I don’t think you’re a long way off. I think that’s what it was: big studios, five actors, and big movies. Things have changed a lot since then, though. The first thing is that it’s streaming. It has made it possible for so many people to make content.
“Bollywood has changed in so many amazing ways. You have the big action, the love story, and the dancing that most people expect.” The interviewer then cut her off in the middle and talked about “RRR,” a movie that was nominated for an Oscar.
At the end of her speech, the actress from The Citadel corrected the host and said: “By the way, that movie is in Tamil. It’s like a big, mega, blockbuster Tamil movie that does all of those things. It’s like our Avengers.”
Fans of RRR didn’t like this change, so they immediately started trolling her about her mistake.
SS Rajamouli has also said before that RRR is a Telugu movie, not a Bollywood movie. Even so, Indiatoday says that Oscars host Jimmy Kimmel called it a Bollywood movie at the 95th Academy Awards’ opening monologue.
