ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) officials met with foreign diplomats in Islamabad. It is for the second time in a week, to discuss the current political and economic situation in Pakistan.
PTI Vice-Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi, his son and party Secretary General Asad Umar met with European Union envoys. According to the PTI’s Central Media Department, they met at the residence of the Austrian ambassador,
The present economic and political state of the nation, discussed during the meeting.
According to the media department, the PTI leadership briefed the envoys on the party’s position on several subjects.
Tuesday morning, Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Asad Umar met with the diplomatic corps for a “breakfast meeting.”
Neil Hawkins, the Australian high commissioner to Pakistan, organised the meeting. Meeting was attended by ambassadors from European and Muslim nations.
Moreover, They discussed the country’s regional and overall political situation, according to Qureshi.
Afterward, Leaders of the PTI briefed ambassadors of their party’s call for timely, fair elections to end the climate of political insecurity.
The previous ruling party has altered its strategy and is now talking with foreign diplomats, US lawmakers, and powerful figures in an effort to garner international support for its cause.
Moreover, the party has recruited a second lobbying firm in the United States to assist its goals of “positive relations with the United States and the Pakistani diaspora in the United States.”
