Webdesk: Cristiano Ronaldo thanked his family and friends after leading Al-Nassr to its first Arab Club Champions Cup win on Saturday.
“Extremely proud to help the team win this important trophy for the first time!” Ronaldo wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

After scoring twice in extra time, Al-Nassr won the title.
After joining Al-Nassr Ronaldo scored six times to lead the team to the title.
The competition featured elite Arab clubs from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Iraq, Morocco, Tunisia, and Algeria.
Sadio Mane, Seko Fofana, and Marcelo Brozovic all missed first-half chances for Al-Nassr.
Al-Hilal’s Malcom crossed the ball to Michael, who scored a free header six minutes into the second half.
To add insult to injury, the 27-year-old raced to the corner flag. He than sprang into the air in the Ronaldo goal celebration.
Ronaldo levelled in the 74th minute after right-back Sultan Al-Ghannam’s low cross.
Al-Nassr defender Abdulelah Al-Amri sent off in the second half, while Nawaf Boushal sent off while on the bench for arguing with an official, but they managed to force extra time.
In the opening half of extra time, Ronaldo scored on a crossbar rebound with the custodian off his line to double the lead.
However, Ronaldo was dragged off after a collision in the second period of extra time, two days before their Saudi Pro League start against Al-Ettifaq.
