Webdesk: Bill Simmons, a top executive at Spotify, said that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are “f*g grifters” after their podcast Archetypes finished without a second season. Three years after they signed the $20 million deal, they had only made 13 shows.
Their audio production business, Archewell Audio, and Spotify put out a joint statement saying that they had “mutually agreed to part ways and proud of the series we made together.”
Then, Bill Simmons, who is the Head of show Innovation and Monetization at Spotify, talked about the couple on his own show. “Those damn cheaters. We should have started that podcast with them. I have to get drunk one night and tell the story of the Zoom call with Harry to help him come up with an idea for a podcast. It’s one of my best tales.”
Simmons is a sports writer who started a website called The Ringer about sports and pop culture. In 2020, he sold it to Spotify for $200 million. He then joined Spotify himself, and he has said many negative things about the couple.
“Shoot this guy as far as you can. I can’t stand this guy anymore. What does he have to offer? He keeps giving interviews where he just complains about stuff. What does it matter? Who gives a damn about you? Even the favourite kid wasn’t you. You live in f Montecito and only sell movies and podcasts. No one cares what you have to say about anything unless you talk about the royal family and just complain about them.
