Bolan: According to SSP Kachhi Mahmood Notezai, at least nine members of the Balochistan Constabulary were martyred and nine others were injured in a bombing in Bolan on Monday. This was yet another act of terrorism.
The blast happened close to Bolan’s Kambri Bridge area, and the injured are being transported to the Divisional Headquarters Hospital, according to the police.
Mehmood Notezai, senior superintendent of police (SSP) in Kachhi, stated that although preliminary evidence points to a suicide attack, the precise nature of the explosion could only be determined after further investigation.
According to him, a bomb disposal team arrived at the scene and the area is being searched following the explosion.
Three of the injured, according to the police, are being transported to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Sibi because they are in critical condition.
Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, the chief minister of Balochistan, denounced the incident and claimed that the terrorists’ cowardly actions were intended to further their evil objectives.
Creating unrest and instability is part of a conspiracy to prevent the province from developing, he claimed, adding that all conspiracies will be thwarted with the help of the populace.
He expressed his sympathies to the families of the martyrs.
According to the medical director of Quetta’s Civil Hospital, the hospital had been placed in emergency mode, and all of the staff, including consultants, physicians, pharmacists, and paramedics, had been called to work. In the general, emergency, and operating rooms, he claimed that every member of staff and every doctor was present.
