Webdesk: In February, Swara Bhaskar got married to Fahad Ahmad, who is a social activist. After registering their marriage last month, the couple had a big wedding reception in Delhi on March 16. Now that pictures of the two are all over social media, people are sending them lots of congratulations.
They made a grand entrance at the reception because it was so fancy. A lot of famous people from the movie industry and the political world also came to the ceremony. At their wedding, only their closest friends and family members were there. However, at Swara and Fahad’s reception in Delhi, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi Party leader and actor Jaya Bachchan, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, and MP Shashi Tharoor were among the guests who came to wish the couple well, according to News 18.
Swera wore a traditional outfit with a striking maang tika, earrings with big stones and diamonds, bangles, and a pair of statement earrings. On the other hand, Fahad looked sharp in a golden-white sherwani and white pyjamas. The two people greeted their special guests and walked hand in hand for pictures.
Jaya and Rahul showed up together at the wedding reception. The Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham actor wore a white and yellow shalwar kameez set, while Rahul wore a kurta and a pair of pyjamas that were both white.
A day before the big wedding reception, Swara talked about a special Qawwali night she and Fahad hosted. There were also a lot of famous people there. For it, the actor from the movie Veere Di Wedding looked like a king or queen in a royal navy blue velvet ethnic outfit with a lot of embroidery and embellishments.
She wore a green and gold-bordered dupatta with her outfit and made a fashion statement with her jewellery. Fahad also wore a Pathani suit with white patterns in the same navy blue colour. Swara threw away the pictures and wrote, “This is so sad!”
In the post they wrote together, “Sometimes you look far and wide for something that was right next to you the whole time. We were looking for love, but the first thing we found was a good friend. We finally found each other. Hello, Fahad Zirar Ahmad, and welcome to my heart. Even though it’s a mess, it’s yours!”
