Webdesk: Recently, actress Swara Bhasker married political activist Fahad Ahmad while wearing a lehenga made by Pakistani designer Ali Xeeshan.
Swara revealed the details of her reception gown on her Twitter account. She praised the designer for shipping her outfit all the way from Lahore to Bareilly.
She wrote, “My Walima attire travelled from Lahore to Dubai to Bombay to Delhi and finally to Bareilly! I have long admired Ali Xeeshan’s ability. When I contacted him about wearing his work to Walima, his kindness and generosity made me admire him.
“Ali Xeeshan not only sent me and @FahadZirarAhmad Jodi clothes. But also carefully embroidered personalised touches and inscriptions into the magnificent robes. My sarhad-best pair’s friend @Natrani came to our aid and made it possible for the costumes to reach Dubai,” the Veere Di Wedding actress said.
At her Valima reception, Swara Bhasker wore a thick lehenga with a variety of contrasting pastel hues, including pink, blue, and green. According to Indiatoday, the predominant colour of her outfit was ivory and it featured intricate patterns.
