In a bizarre yet entertaining global event, over 300 participants took part in the annual T-Rex Race in Auburn, Washington. Wearing inflatable dinosaur costumes, men, women, and children competed in separate racing categories—proving that even ancient predators can sprint (if they’re human inside).
One of the most jaw-dropping moments was the “Parachuting T-Rex” segment, where participants jumped from airplanes, landed in the stadium, and then completed the race on foot—dressed as giant dinos!
What started in 2017 as a simple team-building exercise by a local pest control company has now become a full-blown international festival. Since 2022, Japan has also hosted similar events, drawing growing crowds and dinosaur enthusiasts.
This event blends comedy, creativity, community engagement, and fitness—all wrapped up in a prehistoric package.
