Webdesk: Christine Baumgartner was upset by Kevin Costner’s hard work schedule when she filed for a divorce.
“Christine doesn’t want him to throw himself into another project,” a person close to the couple told the magazine “PEOPLE.” Since last year, he can’t stop thinking about making the movie Horizon. It didn’t make her happy.”
Another source told the outlet, “Sometimes, his job has been more important than his family.”
“Kevin hasn’t been home much in a long time because of filming, how busy Yellowstone is, and how much time his other projects take. “People have been looking for him,” the person said.
The source also told the site, “All of this success and joy about the new project probably took him away from his family more than he realised. Since it didn’t look like that would change and could probably get worse, it caused stress at home.”
The 18 years of marriage ended with a divorce. A person close to the couple said that even though the 68-year-old “knew” Christine was “unhappy,” her filing of divorce was a “unpleasant surprise.”
“Christine wants them to spend time together as a family at their house in Santa Barbara,” the person said. “Kevin isn’t around much while the movie is being made. Her life has been hard without him.”
