Webdesk: On Sunday, the federal government said that the price of diesel will go down by Rs5 per litre while the price of petrol will stay the same for the next two weeks.
In a televised speech, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that the new prices set up to give the people the “maximum relief” possible, as Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had asked.
The financial czar also said that the price of Kerosene oil and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) would go down by Rs10 per litre.
After the new prices made public, a litre of petrol will cost Rs282, HSD will cost Rs288, kerosene oil will cost Rs176.07, and light diesel oil will cost Rs164.68.
