The Surprising Reason Why Madhuri and Juhi Didn’t Marry Film Superstars

Bollywood’s senior actresses Juhi Chawla and Madhuri Dixit revealed in a show that they did not marry superstars from the film industry.

Madhuri married Dr. Shriram Nene in 1999, while Juhi Chawla married businessman Jay Mehta in 1995.

During an appearance on the show “Koffee with Karan,” host Karan Johar asked the actresses why they chose to marry outside the film industry, despite working with top stars.

Madhuri responded, “I worked with Shah Rukh and Salman a lot, but for a decision like marriage, I didn’t like any of them. My husband is my hero.”

Juhi Chawla shared, “The flowers, cards, and gifts Jay Mehta gave me really impressed me. I also thought if my husband were an actor, living the same glamorous life as me, I probably wouldn’t have been able to handle it.”

Juhi further stated, “As an actor, you are fully immersed in your work, and I couldn’t imagine marrying someone from the same industry. I was very clear about that.”
