Islamabad: In the Toshakhana case, a district and sessions court in Islamabad issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday.

Judge of additional sessions Zafar Iqbal, who presided over the trial, announced the verdict.

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) and banking court granted the former prime minister interim bail after he appeared before them at the judicial complex earlier today.

The former prime minister was granted bail in the cases of illegal funding and terrorism against him.

ATC judge Raja Jawad heard the terrorism case and granted bail until March 9 in exchange for Rs100,000 in surety bonds.

In the meantime, judge Rakhshandeen Shaheen approved Khan’s bail in the illegal funding case.

Khan was scheduled to attend the hearings of multiple cases before three courts today. These included a prohibited funding case in a banking court, an anti-terrorism case, the Toshakhana and a murder attempt case in the same court.
