SWABI: Rescue 1122 Swabi’s team responded promptly to a tragic accident at the Gohati Canal near Bakr, where a rickshaw carrying 14 members of a family fell into the canal. According to reports, the family members were traveling in the rickshaw when the incident occurred.
Rescue 1122 confirmed that as soon as they received the accident report, teams rushed to the scene. They managed to rescue eight individuals alive and promptly transferred four injured persons to the nearby hospital. Unfortunately, the hospital authorities confirmed that three people had passed away, while one person’s condition is critical.
Under the supervision of District Emergency Officer Owais Babar, rescue teams have launched an operation to locate two missing individuals, who are reportedly a mother and her child. The search operations have been intensified to find the missing family members.
