Lahore:
The United States has announced the closure of the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD) for Pakistani students.
The U.S. Department of State has confirmed that the Global UGRAD program for Pakistan will no longer be continued. The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) stated that the program, which had been successfully running for the past 15 years, will no longer be available.
In its official statement, USEFP acknowledged the disappointment this news may cause, especially for students who had applied this year and were eagerly awaiting the opportunity. The Global UGRAD program had helped thousands of students not only with academic development but also in enhancing cultural exchange and leadership skills.
The foundation commended the students’ enthusiasm and commitment to academic excellence, encouraging them to continue seeking other exchange programs and scholarships that align with their dreams.
The announcement of the program’s end was made on USEFP’s official website and social media platforms, along with best wishes for the students.
