WhatsApp is currently testing its edit message feature for iOS users, according to a report by WABetaInfo. While the feature was introduced for Android beta users last year, it has yet to be rolled out for iOS users. The report stated that the feature is currently only available to a small group of WhatsApp users on iOS, allowing them to edit text messages within 15 minutes of sending them. Similar to iMessage, WhatsApp will also display an edited label on messages that have been changed by the sender. The feature will be limited to text messages only and will not include images, videos, or documents. There is no word yet on when the feature will be released to the general public. This news comes just days after WhatsApp released a picture-in-picture feature for video calls on its iOS apps.
