Germany’s Chancellor Olaf Scholz stressed the interconnectedness of their people and economy. He expressed a willingness to promote their shared goal.
King Salman, Macron, Michel, and von der Leyen all congratulated Erdogan, emphasising the significance of cooperating and deepening relations.
UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak stressed the importance of continued engagement, especially in combating security concerns as NATO members.
Pakistan’s PM Shehbaz Sharif, Armenia’s Nikol Pashinyan, Israel’s President Isaac Herzog. As well as Hungary’s Viktor Orban also hoped for normalisation and improved relations.
Notably, officials from Palestine, Azerbaijan, Iran, Sudan, Serbia, Pakistan, Venezuela, and other nations also congratulated Erdogan, showing global acknowledgement of his reelection.
