Zamanpark Operation: A lot of celebrities speak up for Imran Khan

LAHORE: In the Toshakhana case, there have been attempts to arrest former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan. Pakistani celebrities have come out in support of him.

For the second day in a row, the police and rangers have been trying to arrest Imran Khan. This operation led to violence and protests all over the country. Khan asked workers and supporters to gather around his Lahore home in Zaman Park to keep him from being arrested.

Many famous people in Pakistan also spoke out against the situation on social media.

The “outpouring of support” for Khan was “unprecedented” in Pakistan, according to actor Adnan Siddiqui.

Atiqa Odho, prayed for Khan’s safety. She said that Khan doesn’t deserve to be treated the way he is. She added “Because he is trying to “break the chains of misery” for our country.

While, Maya Ali, an actor, and Shahveer Jafry, a YouTuber, both spoke out in support of Imran Khan.

Moreover, Mariyam Nafees criticised the police for using baton charges and shelling, saying on Instagram, “These are your people, and you work for them.”

Fahad Mirza, an actor and doctor, criticised the police for being too rough. Afterward, Farhan Saeed, an actor and singer, spoke out against any attempts to divide Khan from the people, saying that it would only bring them closer together against those who tried to do so.
