ISLAMABAD: Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) Minister Ehsanur Rehman Mazari announced Saturday that the PCB Management Committee will not extended.

PCB Management Committee’s term ends on June 20. After his second meeting with former PCB chairman Zaka Ashraf on Friday, Mazari said the ministry would not submit the PM an extension summary.

This week, the minister met Ashraf. Mazari stated that he will always support the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

I’ll only follow the Pakistan People’s Party leadership. Mazari stated, “I sent the summary to the prime minister with Zaka Ashraf as PCB Chairman.”

Moreover, The minister said PPP leaders had nominated Ashraf as PCB chairman and would fully back him. “My meeting with Zaka was about the future roadmap.”

While, Mazari again ordered the PCB Management Committee to disclose all hiring and firing expenses over the past five months.

The Minister has also asked PCB COO Salman Naseer why the Ministry has not received the relevant details after two months of letters.

“Two letters have been sent to the PCB about expenditures since the MC took over. That includes hiring, firing, and touring in these months. “We have not received any detailed answer yet,” the minister stated.

The PCB’s destiny and Sethi and Ashraf’s positions will be decided this week.
