Webdesk: Rihanna is no longer the CEO of her Savage X Fenty lingerie brand. She has replaced herself with Hillary Super, who was the CEO of Anthropologie Group.
Vogue says that after starting the company in 2018, the Barbadian singer will take on a leadership role as executive chair.
“It’s been amazing to see how much our idea for Savage X Fenty has changed the industry over the last five years. The Diamonds singer said, “This is just the beginning for us. We’re going to keep growing in ways that always connect with the consumer.”
“I’m so happy and grateful to have Hillary Super as our new CEO. She’s a strong leader who wants to take the business to an even higher level.”
Before becoming a millionaire, the beauty mogul ran Guess, American Eagle, Gap, and Old Navy.
“I’m thrilled to join the Savage X Fenty family,” Super said.
“The brand is a major powerhouse in the lingerie and clothing industries, and it’s inspiring that it stays committed to celebrating diversity and not being afraid.”
The choice will go into force on June 26.
Before Savage X Fenty, the 35-year-old had already shown that she was a good business owner. In 2017, she started Fenty Beauty, which helped her get on the path to becoming a billionaire.
Forbes said that the brand made $550 million a year in sales because the makeup were liked by customers. Now, the company was worth $2.8 billion.
