Webdesk: Celina Jaitly finally spoke about losing her twin son Shamsher to heart disease.
Celina posted a photograph of her baby from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and a family photo with a lengthy explanation on July 19. She discussed her struggles after her son’s death.
“It took me 5 years to come to terms with this episode of our lives but I have finally summoned the courage to talk about my ordeal to help many parents who reach out to @haag.peter & I as they deal with the trauma of preterm birth and loss of a baby.”
Peter n I hope such parents know they can survive. We’ve seen your preemie baby survive. #Preemies demonstrate faith, prayer, and human spirit. Remember that most preterm babies enjoy regular, healthy lives.”
The Golmaal Returns actress defined premature pregnancy.
Preterm babies are born alive before 37 weeks. Our 2nd spontaneous #twinpregnancy was sad owing to Baby Shamsher’s heart issue.
My father’s sudden death induced birth at 32 weeks. It was really difficult for Peter and I. We smiled after many million tears in this snapshot to seal a good memory for our blessing son @arthurjhaag birth. As he went straight to NICU in an incubator for 3 months.”

“While not an option for everyone, Peter & I moved into the same hospital in Dubai for the few months of #nicu as the loss of Shamsher left us immensely anxious about Arthur and feelings of frustration, intense sadness, nervousness, disappointment, guilt, anger, love overwhelmed us too.”
