PM Kakar: “No compromise on minorities protection”

Jaranwala: On Monday, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar assured Christians that minority protection would not compromised.

In Jaranwala town in Faisalabad’s industrial region, a crowd vandalised many churches and set dozens of houses on fire after a few miscreants made announcements in mosques urging the mob to attack under blasphemy allegations. The premier made these comments.

Moreover, the attack on August 16 outraged social media and political and religious heavyweights in the country, who said such violent behaviour unacceptable.

Hate-based tragedy saddens me. The government must protect everyone “PM Kakar told Jaranwala’s Christian victims.

Extremism has nothing to do with religion, language, or geography, he added, adding that a caring society survives.

“The Christian community helped found Pakistan, and every Muslim must protect the minority community.”

The prime minister also promised the victims that they would battle humanity’s adversaries together since no civilization can live without justice. “The enemies’ first target is the justice system, and any society needs justice and fairness.”

Moreover, PM Kakar called the Jaranwala event a disease and human behaviour in satan’s shape.

“The Jaranwala incident grieved me. The state supports the downtrodden, not the oppressor “said. The PM stated that enemies will punished.

“I can assure you that our actions will speak louder than our speeches”. Caretaker PM Kakar said, warning that no one could predict the future. The government would protect minorities like Sikhs, Hindus, and others from evildoers.

He also thanked the forthcoming top justice of Pakistan, the interim chief minister, and the military leadership for supporting the victims and vowed to protect minority rights.

The premier also visited Isa Nagri to assess the church’s damage and repair.
