Tehran: Iran has once again rejected the possibility of direct talks with the U.S., emphasizing that it will only engage in diplomatic and indirect negotiations.
The Iranian Foreign Minister stated that direct negotiations with a party that consistently threatens the use of force and violates the United Nations Charter would be meaningless.
According to the Foreign Ministry, Iran is committed to diplomacy, but only on terms of respect and dignity. The Iranian president also questioned why the U.S. continues to make threats if it genuinely seeks talks.
The head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps also claimed that Iran has learned how to control its adversaries.
