Details of Afghan Women’s Age, Numbers, and Locations in Punjab Revealed

The Special Branch and CTD (Counter-Terrorism Department) have compiled a record by determining the locations, numbers, and ages of Afghan women. The record shows that 6,308 Afghan women holding citizen cards are residing in Lahore and 10 other cities in Punjab.

The record further reveals that 1,828 women are residing in Punjab as dependent individuals without citizen cards. The highest number of undocumented Afghan women are residing in Rawalpindi, where 720 illegal Afghan women are living.

The highest number of Afghan women holding citizen cards is in Gujranwala, with 3,398 women. In Lahore, there are 296 citizen card holders and 419 undocumented Afghan women living.

According to the record, there are 2,987 Afghan women aged between 18 and 35 in Punjab, while 1,915 Afghan girls under the age of 18 have been identified. Additionally, there are 921 women aged between 35 and 50, and 485 women over the age of 50 in the record.
