U.S. President Donald Trump has announced a 90-day suspension of tariffs on all countries except China. This move will benefit countries like Pakistan that did not impose retaliatory tariffs on the U.S.
Trump has raised the tariff rate on China to 125%. The U.S. President stated that the new tariffs on China will be implemented immediately, sending a clear message to China that cheating will no longer be tolerated.
Trump also mentioned that over 75 countries have agreed to enter negotiations with the U.S., and during the 90-day period, a 10% tariff will remain in effect on these countries.
