Karachi: A day after it was invaded by terrorists, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen. Asim Munir paid a visit to the Karachi Police Office (KPO) on Saturday.

Murad Ali Shah, the chief minister of Sindh, and Lt. Gen. Babar Iftikhar, the commander of the Karachi Corps, were reportedly also present.

On Friday night, three terrorists attacked the Karachi police chief’s office, breaking into the building with hand grenades and heavy weaponry. But, the security officers quickly took out all three of them.

Three security personnel, one Rangers officer, two policemen, and a civilian were killed during the operation as a result of the terrorist attack.

As the inquiry into the incident gets underway, the three terrorists who were killed have been named. Kifayatullah, a local of Lakki Marwat, KPK, was recognised as the attacker who set himself off. Zala Noor, a North Waziristani, was recognised as the second insurgent. According to reports, Balochistan was home to the third.
