Lahore: Pakistani diva Mahira Khan congratulated Lahore Qalandars for winning the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023 title by one run over Multan Sultans.
On Saturday at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore Qalandars became the first team to successfully defend their title.
The Mohammad Rizwan-led team, seeking 201 runs, came close but lost by one run.
“Congratulations Lahore Qalandars,” the actor tweeted.
David Wiese dismissed opener Usman Khan in the fourth over of the run-chase. Right-hander scored 18 runs in 12 balls.
Rilee Rossouw and Mohammad Rizwan put on 64 runs in 42 balls to keep the Multans on track after the early defeat.
