Webdesk: Samantha Ruth Prabhu tells the truth about how she handles online trolls.
The actress from “Family Man” was just told that she has myositis, which is a rare condition that causes severe muscle pain. Even though she was sick, she was still able to promote her upcoming movie Shaakuntalam.
Some people told her how strong she was, while others didn’t even bother to say anything about her.
Samantha talked about this in an interview with Indiatoday. She said, “I think I understand that we live in a world where cynicism has gotten very bad. It’s scary that they don’t care,”
“It’s making a lot of people depressed and anxious because they don’t care about each other and don’t treat each other with kindness. Because of this, anxiety and depression are on the rise right now, which I can understand. I think I do understand that I can value myself a lot more. I’m going to be able to shut out the noise and listen to the voice in my head that says, “You’ve come a long way.” You are strong, and you’ve been through so much that they can’t even begin to imagine,’
“So no one’s snide comment about the last eight months will make them less important, and no one will think that my beauty isn’t on the outside right now, but on the inside.”
“Before, I always thought I was fine! You look nice, but maybe I didn’t really feel that way. But now I do think that my experiences have made me strong and beautiful.
Shaakuntalam, a movie by Samantha Ruth Prabhu, will come out on April 14.
