Over £150 million will be spent on security for King Charles’ coronation.

Webdesk: Local media say that the coronation of King Charles will cost British tax payers £250 million.

Anti-monarchists who have already planned protests for the day of the coronation are likely to be upset by the costs of security.

Express.co.uk said that insiders said that around £150 million needed to pay for thousands of police officers and protection squads. The rest of the money will go towards putting on the ceremony and three days of celebrations.

While, The cost of the event has gone up. As there are more security risks and more protests planned at home.

Moreover, To stop activities from stopping the event, a plan called “Operation Orb” has made.

The operation would include snipers on rooftops, a lot of armed officers in the streets, and police drones flying over crowds to look for suspicious behaviour.
