Webdesk: Zainab Abbas, a well-known cricket host, recently said that she thought Pakistan captain Babar Azam better “at the moment” than Indian star Virat Kohli.
But the Pakistani host said that Azam’s fans are “sensitive” because he leads Pakistan in all three types of cricket right now.
Abbas said, “Right now, Babar Azam the best player,” when asked on the Geo News show Hasna Mana Hai who’s the best player.
“Babar Azam fans are very sensitive people. But Babar makes us proud,” she said.
In response to another question, Abbas talked about which player on the Pakistan team she thought the most handsome.
“When I was young, it was Shahid Afridi, but now I think it’s Naseem Shah,” she said.
Abbas also said that if she had played cricket for a living, she would have been a bowler.
“I think bowling would have been my thing. “There is something about fast bowling that speaks to me,” she said.
“Wasim Akram is my favourite fast bowler from Pakistan,” she said.
Abbas’s current job is to help New Zealand on its tour of Pakistan, which is still going on.
After winning the first two ODI matches in Rawalpindi, the Green Shirts now have a 2-0 lead in the five-match series. The other games in this series are on May 3, 5, and 7 in Karachi.
Earlier, the Black Caps surprised the home team by tying a five-game Twenty20 series, 2-2, even though they were missing eight players, including captain Kane Williamson, who was playing in the Indian Premier League or was hurt.
