Webdesk: Recently, Bollywood star Sanya Malhotra talked about being harassed in public places more than once, and she said that she was upset that no one ever helped her.
In an interview with Hauterrfly, the HIT actress talked about being harassed by a group of guys in a Delhi metro on her way home from college. “I was alone, so I didn’t say anything,” she said. It got to the point where I couldn’t do anything. They started to tease each other and touch.”
Saniya also said that she was surprised no one helped her in the metro. She kept telling the terrifying story: “Then I left Rajiv Chowk, and they all started following me. All of them were big and strong.”
“Thank God there were a lot of people at that stop, because I had to run to the toilet and call my dad. I asked him to pick me up,”
The star then thought back to something else that happened in Mumbai. This was after she had become well-known in the business.
She said that a fan came up to take a picture with her and touched her inappropriately. “I was like, ‘What the hell?'” But the photographers didn’t help me, either. I was so mad that I called him back and told him, “You did wrong.”
Sanya was last seen in the Netflix show Kathal, where she played a cop who has to find out what happened to two jackfruits that went missing from a politician’s yard.
