Webdesk: After the success of Air, Matt Damon is totally focused on marketing Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, oblivious of the audience’s dilemma of whether to watch Barbie first or Oppenheimer.
Christopher Nolan’s three-hour biopic about the atomic bomb’s inventor premieres the same day as Greta Gerwig’s Barbie.
Both films promoted by Matt Damon, who plays Manhattan Project director General Leslie Groves.
I just learned about it. Damon told Vanity Fair that he had ignored the online controversy over which ticket to buy on July 21, the opening night of both films.
“Weekend moviegoers can see two. “Oppenheimer” is one!”
Damon said, “I’ll have to ask them that.” “Then they’ll see two films that weekend!”
Damon told Vanity Fair that Nolan built the Manhattan Project town in Los Alamos, New Mexico for authenticity. He also compared Oppenheimer to Spielberg’s Saving Private Ryan.
Nolan also recreated the atomic bomb explosion without CGI.
