Lahore: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Aitzaz Ahsan questioned the use of force in Zaman Park.

He told the reporters that the cops also raided his residence in Zaman Park.

“Why were thousands of soldiers necessary?” he wondered. “Had they opened fire from the front?”

“When you realised that Imran Khan not at home, you turned into a lion and destroyed his front door,” he remarked. What happened to one politician today will happen to another politician tomorrow.

He pondered what it would be like if this crowd were to reach the elite. He stated that the caretaker administration lacks the authority to take such measures.

The leader of the PPP stated that the incident had elevated Imran’s status.

“Maryam Nawaz and Rana Sanaullah are gifts for the PTI,” he remarked.

“Imran Khan should be punished for his illegal actions,” he continued.

Ahsan stated that he would recommend settling on a date and holding the poll.

He said. “The governor has no revision authority whatsoever.”

According to him, the army commander would also provide troops, and the interior minister will deploy Rangers.

“On the day they summoned by the Supreme Court, everyone will stand respectfully and with care,” he stressed.
