Benazir Kafalat ammount rose to Rs8,500.

Islamabad: Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has raised the quarterly assistance provided to Benazir Kafalat recipients.

The amount of quarterly support increased from Rs7,000 to Rs8,500, according to a BISP spokesperson.

The January-March payment of the Benazir Income Support Program distributed to its nine million participants. This quarter, the government has allocated around Rs83 billion.

In addition, the quarterly Benazir Education Stipend installment released. The children of BISP recipients will also get stipends for attendance rates above 70 percent.

Beneficiaries in Islamabad, the province of Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan will get their payments from Habib Bank ATMs or authorised locations.

While Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan recipients would receive these funds from Bank Al Falah. The recipients instructed to count their total amount and obtain a receipt.
