Bing announces OpenAI-powered image-creation tool.

Microsoft Corp. launched a text-to-image tool for Bing and Edge on Tuesday that uses OpenAI’s DALL-E technology.

The AI-powered Bing and Edge trial will have access to “Bing Image Creator.”

Microsoft announced in a blog post that Bing Picture Maker will integrate into Bing conversation in Creative mode

After last year’s debut of ChatGPT, the OpenAI-owned chatbot that showcased the promise of massive language models. Companies large and small are competing to install software that might change how people work.

Microsoft and Alphabet Inc.’s Google claim AI functionality for their most popular products, from Excel to Gmail.

Moreover, Redmond-based Microsoft has invested in OpenAI, which released GPT-4 this week to create a real website from a hand-drawn mockup and calculate taxes.

While, Bing users got Visual Storytelling and Knowledge Cards 2.0 from Microsoft. AI-generated images and interactive elements like charts and timelines will display information and critical data.
