Dhaka market explosion kills 15.

DHAKA: A local fire department official reported that an explosion in a Dhaka market killed at least 15 persons and injured numerous more on Tuesday.

The official stated that a seven-story structure exploded, damaging two stories.

“Several stores sold sanitary gear and household supplies. Fire department official Dinomoni Sharma said the bomb damaged a bus on the other side of the structure.

Furthermore, Sharma said the blast’s source was unknown, and rescue efforts could increase the casualty toll.

The building and adjacent structures were heavily damaged, with retail products stacked up on the street. Broken glass and rubble injured passersby.

Kamal Ahmed, a victim of the blast, told local media he heard a huge bang while shopping on the sidewalk.

Hearing the boom, I fell. I saw smoke everywhere. Buildings aren’t visible, according to him.
