Webdesk: Hari Budhamagar, a Nepalese double amputee ex-soldier, became the first person to climb Mount Everest using artificial legs. Budhamagar’s Friday afternoon summit of the beautiful peak inspires physically challenged people worldwide.

Moreover, Budhamagar’s climb to the world’s highest summit was difficult. Budhamagar struggled to achieve his dream after losing both legs in Afghanistan in 2010. In 2017, Nepal banned blind, double-amputee, and solo climbers from Everest. He postponed his 2018 Everest climb.

Moreover, The Supreme Court granted a writ suit against the prohibition, restoring optimism. The court overturned the regulation in 2018, allowing Budhamagar’s historic expedition. He overcame great physical and mental hurdles to reach the summit, proving that every person has indomitable spirit.

Budhamagar’s success shows the strength of resilience and the determination to pursue dreams despite hurdles. Millions are inspired by his tenacity, fortitude, and determination.

Five foreigners also summited Everest, adding to the climbing success story. Nepal’s Himalayan peaks have increased Everest climbing enthusiasm. With eight of the world’s ten highest peaks, the country awarded a record 466 permits this season.

While, Hari Budhamagar’s feat shows that the human spirit is limitless. His narrative will inspire many to aspire for the stars, overcome barriers, and achieve their own achievements, no matter how difficult the route.
